Special thanks to our sponsor, Autodesk, Neoscape, Digital Tutors, and Focal Press. Who are providing us with pizza, drinks and items for our raffle.7:00: This month’s AAUGA presentation is going to be something completely new: our first to incorporate Oculus Rift and Razer Hydra into the production pipeline. We’re excited to welcome Jono Forbes of Defective Studios, who will be demonstrating his new virtual reality world creation tool, VRMT (working title). Jono’s newest project can be used as either a stand-alone game to build environments or as part of a 3D/game production pipeline. VRMT allows the user to build new brushsets (collection of props) in a 3D package, bring them into VRMT, lay out the environment, and then load that environment up in any other piece of software, especially Unity.Learn more about VRMT here: http://www.defectivestudios.com/vrmt/. And, be sure to check out the short film World Builder by Bruce Branit, which inspired Jono to create this cool new tool!
