7:00: We are thrilled to have one of our own presenting at this month’s September meeting! Geoff Kornfeld is a local 3D artist who has been working with Autodesk software for over 20 years, and his diverse portfolio is a testament to the breadth of his artistic achievement in this dynamic field, including modeling, texturing, animation, rendering, character rigging and compositing. His long list of clients include names like Progressive Insurance and the History Channel. With a strong focus in archaeological reconstruction, he has also worked in advertising, forensic and medical visualization, and even made models for the game Age of Empires.
Geoff will be sharing cool things he learned on some recent projects, taking us through his process, and answering questions about his tips, tricks, and third-party scripts on September 18th.
